Online Study: Coursework and Thesis Option

Competency-based online degree structure allows maximum transparency and comparability of degree programs based on clear qualifications and competencies. Having a definitive and transparent set of outcomes in a degree allows students to be more employable, thus making competency-based education an effective and convenient path towards educational and professional advancement.

Our Online Study Programs are simple – Online Study for Master degree program requires completion of seven courses (each course is 3 credit hours) and writing of Master Thesis (12 credit hours).  Online Study for Doctor degree program requires completion of nine courses (each course is 3 credit hours) and writing of Doctoral Dissertation (18 credit hours). Research degrees require only the completion of the Thesis or Dissertation without the coursework component. The length of time that student may take completing each course or writing  Master Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation depends entirely on the student. Ambitious students can accomplish Master degree or Doctor degree within two years or even less. Each Master degree is 33 credit hours in total including Master Thesis. Each Doctoral degree is 45 credit hours in total including Doctoral Dissertation. Students can complete their degree program as soon as they can successfully complete all of the required assessments.

Upon registration for courses, each student is provided with Study Plan for each course. The Study Plan contains detailed description of the course, testing schedule and other relevant materials. Students will receive continuous support and guidance throughout all courses to ensure that their learning experience is productive and enlightening, as well as enjoyable.

Our faculty and staff will guide you throughout the duration of your program. Students can register and pay for only one course or any number of courses at a time, making it significantly easier to finance education. Read our Quality Assurance and Privacy Policies

Testing

Each Coursework-and-Thesis degree program requires satisfactory completion of required courses and submission of Master Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation. To receive credit for each course, the student must successfully complete tests to demonstrate proficiency in the course material. Each test is based on the textbook used in this course. To pass the class, the average on all tests must be above 70% on the standard scale: C (70% – 79%), B (80% – 89%), A (90% – 100%). All tests are taken online.

Online Study degree program leads to Master or Doctor degree awarded for the completion of required courses and successful submission of Master Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation. Students have an option of completing degree programs through research only by writing Master Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation, without the coursework component. The cost of both degrees, with coursework or through research without coursework, is the same.
